It was a long time of preparation since we moved to US and did not know where we'd be next. It was 6 years in Los Angeles of Augusto's preparation and.... what a great time!!! Miss that...
Now with a job at University of Auckland our family moved to this beautiful city, beautiful country. We didn't really have time to realize how life will be but day after day we'll find out.
The trip to Brazil was great! It was 3 months with families, loooong and good vacation. The flight to NZ was long, tiring but the kids were brave and did a wonderful job. The time zone is crazy and we are 15 hours ahead of Brazil and 19 hours ahead of LA, it means we are almost one day ahead... Crazy!!!
The first night Clara woke up at 2am and didn't go back to sleep, next day they all woke up at 4am, next at 6am and now at 8am.
It's winter and so the sun comes out very late. This picture the sunrise was at 7am and it was still pretty dark.
It's been raining a lot and is a lot cold. Coming from LA and originally from Brasilia, it's understandable that when kids go out can't see a puddle because they will play with.
The day have been crazy driving around trying to connect with stuff to get the house ready for us to move in. Talking about driving this is the other crazy stuff we'll take long to get used to. Here we drive on the right side hand. Everything change and we need to be very aware. It's stressful but we've done pretty good by now. This week I did get on the wrong way on a big road, oh my goodness!! It was horrible, but everything ended up ok. hahaha. Now it's funny actually!
