This beach is really beautiful but we have to walk a bunch to get there... The kids were exhausted in the end and I wished we had a motorized stroller for three!

Essa praia e' linda, mas temos que andar um bocado pra chegar ate a ela. As crianças estavam exaustas na volta e eu desejei ter um carrinho a motor para trigemios!!

This weekend (Thursday) we went camping down to San Diego. Augusto was dying for surfing down there this weekend because of the very good swell that came at that time... He found a spot at San Onofre State Park Beach. SO we got ready and headed down to San Diego... The plans were going to camp one night, then go to San Diego meet some friends, spend the night with them and on Saturday go to Legoland. But it didn't happen exactly like that. 

When we arrived there, ONLY WHEN WE GOT THERE, we found out that the reservation was for the following week, so we had to look for a new place to stay, and as most of you know, it's hard to find any spot during the summer, unless you've reserved 3 months or so before. I am SO glad it happened!!! The spot in San Onofre is horrible!! It's very very tight, on the asphalt and there was no place for the kids to play. So we did go to Caspers Wilderness Campground, which was GREAT!!!  The camp spot is huge and there is a beautiful playground, a green (now brown...) area. Except for the squirrels, because they are too many and awful!  I recommend this place for who is planning to go camping with kids. We ended up staying 2 nights there and on Saturday morning we came back home, exhausted but happy!!! 

Esta semana (quinta-feira) fomos acampar em San Diego. Augusto estava morrendo de vontade de surfar lá este fim de semana devido ao excelente swell que teve nesse fim de semana ... Ele conseguiu um lugar em San Onofre State Park Beach. Então nos aprontamos e fomos para San Diego ... Os planos eram primeiro passar uma noite no acampamento, depois ir para San Diego nos encontrar com alguns amigos, passar a noite com eles e no sábado ir para o Legoland. Mas nenhuma das nossas escolhas aconteceram. Quando chegamos lá, só quando chegamos lá, descobrimos que a reserva era para a semana seguinte, então tivemos de procurar um novo lugar para ficar. Ficamos muito contentes que isso tenha acontecido! O local em San Onofre é horrível! É muito apertado, no asfalto e não havia lugar para as crianças brincarem. Então fomos para Caspers Wilderness Campground, que foi ótimo! O acampamento é enorme, e há um belo parque, uma area verde (agora marrom ...). Exceto para os esquilos, porque são muitos e horríveis! Eu recomendo este lugar para quem está planejando ir acampar com crianças. Acabamos que passamos 2 noites la e no sábado de manhã fomos pra casa, exaustos!
