On the road...: Mount Maunganui- August 2011

Mount Maunganui was a last minute trip. We were at Taupo for the week then Augusto suggested to extend 3 more days and go to the beach. It had been cold but the sunshine was beautiful everyday, so we did it! We didn't regret, even though there were no waves for Augusto. Mt Maunganui is a very famous surf beach and he was hoping to get out at the water but the sea was flat, beautiful pool!

Mount Maunganui foi uma viagem de última hora. Estávamos em Taupo por 7 noites, então Augusto sugeriu estender mais 3 dias e ir à praia. O tempo estava frio, mas o sol estava lindo todos os dias e por isso resolvemos ir! Não nos arrependemos nem um pouco, embora não tinha ondas para Augusto. Mt Maunganui é uma praia de surf muito famosa e ele estava esperando poder entrar na agua, mas o mar estava lisinho, uma bela piscina!

The kids loved collect shells, there were tons of different shapes and colors and we spent quite a lot of time doing it. Now we'll have some wall or floor full of cute shells.

As crianças adoraram coletar conchas, havia diferentes formas e cores e passamos um bom bocado de tempo fazendo isso. Agora nós vamos ter alguma parede ou chão cheio de conchinhas.

We did lots of walking and all of them were nice and relaxing. We all enjoyed a lot!!

Fizemos muitas caminhadas e todas foram muito relaxantes. Adoramos todas elas!

As always Victor and Clara were always together, holding hands and been good friends, taking good care of each other!

Como sempre, Victor e Clara estavam sempre juntos, cuidando um do outro como bons amigos e irmaos. Lindinhos demais!!

Augusto and Victor went for a early fishing. They rode a bike with all their equipment until the fishing point and spent around 4 hours trying to catch anything. No success though. Later on I came with Clara and Gabriel to join them but they were tired and wanted to do something different. Victor loved the experience!! He can tell you everything he did and how to fish!! So very cute!

Augusto e Victor inventaram uma pescaria bem cedinho um dia. Eles foram de bicicleta com todos os seus equipamentos até o ponto de pesca na praia e gastaram cerca de quatro horas tentando pegar alguma coisa. Sem sucesso no entanto. Mais tarde eu, Clara e Gabriel nos encontramos com eles, mas eles estavam cansados e queriam fazer algo diferente. Victor adorou a experiência! Ele pode lhe dizer tudo o que ele fez e como pescar! Tão lindinho!
