Well here is an attempt to update ... We went through a semester full of tensions. Augusto has not received job offers. Because our visa end is near, the anxiety of time passing just grew. So the whole process as a new start, we needed a letter from the Brazilian government in releasing the obligation to return to Brazil and spend 2 years of such the requirement of visa we had before. The response was positive from the Brazilian embassy, but the problem was that letter got lost on the way at its destination, which delayed the process for 2 months. Two other letters were resent and at the same day that the USCIS received the recommendation of the waiver letters also sent to the U.S. Department of State. What blessings! Well, it all seemed in the end everything was resolved, in making us forget the most important had not happened yet, the job offer! But at least a huge weight was taken from our shores and we are back to breathing again. Getting another year in LA, we'll move to a 3 bedrooms apartment, on this coming June 23rd. The hunt for employment continues and there is still faith that something will happen. I believe that God is taking care of us and that their plans are wonderful, so we will keep working hard and the rest He takes care!

I'm so glad that you get to stay in LA for another year and that you get to move to a 3 bedroom too. Good luck with the job search.
Good luck Patty! We'll be praying for you guys.
Hooray for 3 bedrooms & best of luck with the job hunt. We're hoping you find one in Arizona : )
I am so glad we get you for another year. Are you staying in the Village?
